Hero Suriya has all the eligibility to give back to back bangs to the producers, but he hasn’t even delivered a decent fare lately making his producers the most unfortunate. The latest failure is Kaappaan which had no expectations before and after the release whatsoever.
In a way, Singam (and its sequels) that came back in 2010, 2013 were the last proper hits that Suriya gave. The actor has been struggling ever since. Even being fell in the deep pit of flops, the star has not lost his demand. His dates engaged already for the coming year and a half. Of course, his films went down, but his charm and performance never did.
Now Suriya has one work in progress movie titled Soorarai Pottru which has to do a miracle to lift his career, and if that is not working, all he needs is to choose the right script for the next, at least.
Buzz is that Suriya has put up his creative differences aside with the director Gautham Menon and is gearing up for a good project. He is also working on some scripts with director Bala and his Singam director Hari, after Soorrai Pottru. While the flop count is getting higher than that of his hits, it is high time that Suriya did something to get a hit like Singam again.
