Is She Going To Make The Same Mistake As Rana?Just when everyone thought that things were getting better, especially with respect to the field of cinema, the second wave of coronavirus has started to disrupt everything all over again. Theatres in several North Indian states have been shut down once again, and everything seems bleak.

Due to the shutting down of theatres in the North, Rana Daggubati faced a major problem during the release of his recent film Aranya. The film released in Tamil and Telugu, and the Hindi version, Haathi Mere Saathi, was put on hold. The film didn’t perform well at the box office in Telugu and Tamil, and the interest in the Hindi version was lost along with it.

Now, the same problem seems to be haunting Kangana, whose Thalaivi is gearing up for release. Thalaivi is the biopic of actor turned politician and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. The makers are considering releasing the film in South India while putting the Hindi version on hold. If the Tamil and Telugu versions perform well, then the market for the Hindi version will be good. Otherwise, the film will have to face a similar fate as Rana’s Haathi Mere Saathi.

Thalaivi is scheduled to release on April 23rd, but it is now to be seen if the release will get postponed, or if the film will release in South India on that date, and in North on another date.
