After Dil Raju announced that Samantha‘s Shaakuntalam would release on November 4, the makers of another Samantha starrer, Yashoda, postponed their film which they wanted to release on Diwali, despite it being ready for release.
But due to VFX/CGI and other post-production works, it became clear that Shaakuntalam would not make it on that date and most probably release next year. So Samantha has given a go-ahead to the Yashoda makers who are now making plans to release the film soon. November 11th is the tentative release date but there is no official announcement yet.
Samantha has been away from the media glare for many months now due to her health and personal issues. But if the Yashoda makers finalize the November 11 date, then Sam has to come out of hibernation and face the media. Yashoda is a female-oriented film and she is the biggest USP of the film. She can’t avoid facing the media.
She would be expected to answer a lot of questions regarding her skin treatment rumors, and her secret trip to America, and also some questions may arise about her past relationship with Naga Chaitanya. And this time, she cannot cut down her promotional events because a lot is at stake with the film Yashoda.
