For a generation or two the name Chiranjeevi needs no introduction, he is the ultimate Megastar to them. But can the same be said as truth for the new generation out there?
It is clear that that is not the case. Megastar rather Chiranjeevi is known more as a loser, politically and as the father of Ram Charan, movie wise. The glorious heights that Megastar has seen are practically unknown to the current generation. Is that why Chiranjeevi is worked up way too much than he would have if there weren’t any big failures.
Right from the MAA Awards function to the very latest Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, an air of tension is visible. Even in the recently released promo, he seems to be trying too hard to “connect”. This psychological fear of rejection of the current young generation who are the movie going majority is showing through the nervous energy that he is bringing unknowingly. The charisma of Megastar is still there along with a hoard of fans, it’s time Chiru eases a bit and relaxes instead of forcing him onto the audience. He has the charisma to win everyone, he has done in the past and he can do again in future too. It is easier said than done, though. Let us see how the star takes it forward in his comeback process.
