Maruti is fast becoming one of the highly talked about directors in Telugu cinema, especially after his debut film “Ee Rojullo” went on to be a blockbuster. His second film Bus Stop may not have been a bigger hit, but Maruti definitely left an impact.

While his films can be easily typecasted as clichéd and uncreative, but his forte remains to be making films for the younger generation, precisely college goers. He has very smartly understood that it’s the youngsters who patronize the cinemas more than once nowadays. Hence all his films instantly connect with the younger generation.

He has been credited as script supervisor for Prema Katha Chitram and I’m sure he would have had something to do with the film’s output. He would have definitely contributed to the film, which has generated very good opening talk.
