Director Maruthi and Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej are coming together for a movie tentatively named as Prati Roju Pandage. As the title suggests, the unit is looking at a festival to release the film.
For a long time, Prati Roju Pandage was looking at Sankranthi period to arrive in cinemas. Nothing was and is confirmed, but that is the time they had in mind. It goes with the theme of the subject. However, due to many biggies slated to arrive at the same time, they never came out in the open regarding the date.
Now it looks like, Prati Roju Pandage might be looking at an alternative festival to make it to theatres. It is heard that they are contemplating to make it for Christmas itself. It is the second preference if Sankranthi is totally out of the picture. The other option was Ugadi, but that would be too late. The movie would cease to be a hot property by then.
Whatever may be the case, either Sankranthi or Christmas, a decision has to be made quickly. There are other movies in the pipeline which will be looking to arrive on said dates, as well. There shouldn’t be a last-minute squabble among them.
