Shekhar Kammula’s ‘Happy Days’ showed the aspirations and ideals of youth in a different light not limiting youth’s interest to love related issues. That’s why youth could connect to every character and the film became a smashing hit. Making a sequel for that film would definitely seem to be a good idea.
Actually, there isn’t any kind of buzz regarding ‘Happy Days’ sequel being on cards. But if you watch the teaser of upcoming youthful movie ‘Kerintha’, you might get the same doubt as mine. Is ‘Kerintha’ the sequel of ‘Happy Days’? Young hero Sumanth Ashwin of ‘Lovers’ fame and Tejaswi Madivada of ‘Ice Cream’ fame are playing the lead roles.
Kerintha teaser is refreshing and seems more in the likes of ‘Happy Days’. The feel one gets after watching the youthful teaser is, Telugu audiences would get another pure youthful movie woven around their basic conflicts and adoloscent emotions from Dil Raju. Sai Kiran Adivi is helming the project and Mickey J Mayor is rendering tunes for ‘Kerintha’.
