Is director Srivas the multi-starrer expert

Post the release of Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda, one man has taken the limelight for making three back-to-back multi-starrers which have turned out to be successful as well. Srivas started his career with Gopichand and Jagapathy Babu starrer Lakshyam. Later on, he made Rama Rama Krishna Krishna with Ram and Tamil actor Arjun.

Srivas said that while the first two multi-starrers were planned well in advance, he didn’t want PPT to be a multi-starrer. He said that the film was supposed to be made with Mohan Babu in the lead alongside a young actor, but then the Manchu brothers stepped in and asked him to make changes to feature the entire Manchu family. He didn’t regret in doing so but confirmed that the multi-starrer idea was conceived by the Manchu clan.

He said he is planning another multi-starrer with star heroes but is not sure if the idea will be materialized because of the date issues with the actors. He said he will try his best to get this project moving otherwise he will start working on a smaller project.
