The Powerstar Pawan Kalyan starrer is reportedly being offered a crazy price for OTT acquisition. A whopping 100 Cr is said to be on the offer for Dil Raju to give it a digital release. It makes one wonder if he is sitting on a goldmine.
Consider this – if he opts for OTT, it would be the biggest ever deal for any movie in Telugu cinema. Considering the scale of Vakeel Saab and the pre-release business it could do in the current scenario, it is another fantastic offer.
Similarly, if he holds Vakeel Saab for theatrical release, it would be the first proper big hero movie to hit the screens. Also one needs to remember that Vakeel Saab is also a comeback film for Pawan Kalyan. His last release was in January 2018. A 2021 release would mean a three years gap. If the conditions improve, the openings would be superb, at the least.
As one can see, it is a win-win situation for Dil Raju in either of the cases. He still has a lot of time in the hands to decide as the shoot is yet to be complete.
