On the plea put forward by US-based entertainment company, the International production house Warner Bros, the Delhi High Court has issued interim orders to bring down the popular torrent websites that have been illegally streaming the content of the newly released movies.
The production company has argued in the court how these piracy websites have been hosting and streaming the content that legally belongs to them. It’s not just Warner Bros, many other production houses, both national and international including regional movies were affected by the piracy sites.
So, the Delhi High Court has directed the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block these websites. Among the list of the websites, we have the notoriously famous TamilRockers and many others.
