Popular producer Karan Johar took the Hindi dubbing rights of the film Baahubali and promoted it in a grand manner. He has also got the sequel’s right at an equally high price. Now, he has set his eyes on another Industry Hit.
The star producer has got the remake rights of Marathi film Sairat. As many might remember Sairat is the Baahubali equivalent in Marathi film industry. The film had a historic run at the box office and despite starring newcomers, it ended up collecting twice the previous biggest hit.
The Hindi remake will be co-produced by original makers. The good thing about the remake as of now is this too will star newcomers in it. One has to wait and see if these newcomers would be a new set of industry kids or rank outsiders, in the days to come.
