Bollywood docudrama The Kashmir Files released amidst very little hype, but the film went bonkers at the box office later as it garnered largely positive word of mouth. It stood as India’s biggest box office blockbuster of 2022 until RRR breached the tally a couple of days ago.
The stage is now set for Kashmir Files’ debut on OTT. The film will reportedly be made available for streaming on ZEE5 from the first week of May.
ZEE5 is yet to announce the official OTT premieres date, but it is learnt that the film will arrive on the platform in the first week of May.
Kashmir Files has Anupam Kher in the lead role and it is directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The Kashmir Files is a heart wrenching narrative of the pain, suffering, struggle & trauma of Kashmiri Pandits, seen through the eyes of Krishna, the protagonist. The film questions eye-opening facts about democracy, religion, politics and humanity, the film’s plot reads.
