He was seen in a negative role in last year’s Shiva Thandavam opposite Vikram, and Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu will very soon be seen in another negative role in upcoming Balakrishna’s film, which is being helmed by Boyapati Srinu.
The actor, however, has no regrets whatsoever as he is perfectly alright with playing negative roles. He says since more younger actors have turned hero, he had to eventually take up character and villain roles. He says he had resort to money because he hasn’t been getting any offers.
Jagapati also says that usually those who started as villains went on to be heroes, while i started my career as a hero, but now i get to play villain roles. I don’t mind this but it’s important to remember that everybody has to go through it.
