A lot of celebrities these days are taking the time to share their experiences with sexual harassment and eve teasing and the latest to join this conversation is Ileana D’Cruz.
Ileana used the social media platform Twitter to share an open letter by a woman who was being blackmailed by her ex-boyfriend. She commended the brave step taken by this woman and then went on to share how she herself has been a victim of eve-teasing and harassment. Ileana explained how it was a traumatic event and it was her parent’s strength and support that helped her overcome it.
Unfortunately, her beautiful post on Twitter was trolled with some one of the users asking what made her share it and another even asking if she was horny. Meanwhile, to further emphasise the double standards, when filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had shared the same, he was praised for his efforts!
