HIT-DirectorNani’s ‘HIT’ is faring decently at the box-office despite it’s slow down for the trade and the budget it has. However, we’ve seen how the climax of ‘HIT’ was weak and the forced twist for the sake of having a twist. That’s what most of the reviewers opined.

Talking to Film Companion, director Sailesh Kolanu said that he wouldn’t have changed the weak climax even if given a chance to do it as that’s what he wanted to say, and he has said it. He also laughed at a review which said the movie lacks the commercial elements.

It’s an out-and-out thriller and what they opined was true regarding the commercial elements. He also wanted to make an honest thriller with everything needed for the film. “If you like the film, score it likewise. Why do you need to complain about commercial elements?” said Sailesh.

Nani saw that writing talent in Sailesh Kolanu and gave him the chance to direct ‘HIT’ and he proved his worth with the film for which writing is more important and therefore, even without commercial elements, the movie is faring decently.
