Suriya‘s female director of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ fame has been in the buzz for various reasons and mainly for the methods she had been employing to make things work in this pandemic.
According to her words in the latest interview, she values both male and female actors and in search of opportunities. She didn’t confirm if her next movie would be with an A-lister like a star as Suriya.
But during the pandemic period, she directed a story ‘Ilamai Idho Idho’ that will be a part of an anthology ‘Putham Pudhu Kaalai’. Of course, she is a movie that comes under Amazon Originals and the female director is happy for making a film for an OTT.
She believes that making a film for an OTT is more challenging than for theatres. She made the story within three days and with only 5 people working on the sets as per the lockdown restrictions.
