Many filmmakers and stars reacted aggressively open in front of the media blaming the critics for giving those negative reviews. Now Suresh Babu who just got his brother’s Venky Mama out shared his reaction to negative reviews which sometimes bother the run of the films. While Venky Mama got the mixed reviews all over, Suresh Babu says he too gets angry when he sees the negative reviews for his film.
But, his take on it kind of different from his the others reacted. His concern is about the audience who is not given the liberty of enjoying a film purely and feel the story as it is rather than his brain trained up by the reviews on what to expect or what not to expect before they have even watched the film. Now, if a potential film goes well even after negative reviews it means that the writing had no effect but of the same film fails at theaters, then it means that the reviews had some effect.
So what Suresh Babu thinks is that the audience like in the early days with no access to reviews should directly go spend his time and money and only then must know if is worth his investment. Well, that wont work for many sir.
