Initially, ‘Raja, The Great’ was written for young hero Ram, but due to some technical issues, the project got shifted to Ravi Reja. When Ravi Teja came into the scene, the director, Anil Ravipudi made changes to the script to cater to the image of Ravi Teja.
Even before that when the script was in the initial stages and before narrating the story to Ram Pothineni, Anil Ravipudi told the storyline to NTR and traveled with him for more than a month. But then, NTR took up Bobby’s movie ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ and Anil Ravipudi moved on to direct Ravi Teja.
He is ready to direct a movie for NTR in future and waiting for an opportunity from the young hero. Presently, the director is busy promoting his Diwali release ‘Raja, The Great’ which actually created good buzz and gave the confidence that it might be a super hit movie for Ravi Teja.
