I Thought Trisha Would Reject it - Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ will be his next outing in the cinema theatres. Things are happening in a well planned manner and that’s why the movie didn’t get into any hassles, whatsoever. Rajinikanth’s speech was the highlight of the audio launch event, one of the biggest promotional event of the movie that happened on 9th December in Chennai.

Speaking at the event, the superstar mentioned how he thought that Trisha would reject her role as it was a brief one but she surprised him when Trisha came on board for playing the role. He expressed his excitement for being like a baby with Simran. Rajinikanth said that romancing Simran was refreshing for him.

Coming to the music, he praised Anirudh Ravichander sky-high calling him the AR Rahman of Kollywood. However, the music director has missed delivering a memorable album for the superstar. Let’s wait and see if his background score will be overwhelming. ‘Petta’ seems to have all those commercial elements and when it comes to theatres we will know whether or not Karthik Subbaraju has properly used the golden opportunity of directing the superstar.
