Vishwak Sen of ‘Ee Nagarani ki Emayyindi’ fame has turned director for an upcoming movie titled ‘Falaknuma Das‘. He wanted to show the beauty of Hyderabad by capturing the upcaptured beauty in different frames.

So, when he went for locations recci, he happened to go inside Osmania University’s Arts College. The hero turned director said that he was literally awestruck by the beauty of the college interior’s architecture. Though the University gave the required permissions, there were like 58 different unions that didn’t allow him to shoot in the college. Somehow, he managed to shoot the sequences he wanted to, barring 3-4 scenes.

Actually, it was a herculean task managing the unions that came one after the other. He had to persuade every union. Vishwak Sen says that he put his camera and the entire crew under huge risk as the unions were like mob who could even demolish the expensive cameras and also harm his crew members. Finally, according to Vishwak Sen, he happens to be the first among the present generation filmmakers who captured the architectural beauty of the Arts College. Let’s wait and see. By the way, director Tharun Bhascker played a realistic cop role in ”Falaknuma Das’.
