Anirudh RavichanderThere is a huge burden and big expectations on music director Anirudh Ravichander as he is scoring music for the sequel of Shankar directorial ‘Indian 2’ of 1996 blockbuster movie ‘Indian’. The comparisons are bound to happen as ARRahman gave a cult album for the movie that went on to be a big support system for the movie and its concept.

Naturally, Rahman‘s fans were upset as Anirudh replaced AR Rahman in the sequel. The young music director says that he knew fans would be upset he replaced AR Rahman. But, he has got the dream chance to score music for Shankar’s movie and there was no way he could have said, ‘No’ to Shankar. The only thing he could do is, try to give his best score for the movie as it is like a blessing for him to get such a chance.

It’s up to Anirudh to create a chartbuster album and make it memorable for the fans. As of now, the sequel completed a few days of shooting with Kamal Haasan’s new-look for the older version and the makers are presently erecting sets to continue shooting for the next schedules. Shankar coming back to a social subject is keeping up the audiences’ curiosity levels and let’s see what Kamal Haasan will have to showcase this time as ‘Indian 2’.
