I Have Been Grossly Misquoted by the Complainant - Urmila Matondkar‏Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar is contesting for Lok Sabha elections from Mumbai North Parliamentary constituency with Congress Party ticket. Her comments during a recent interview, Urmila’s comments were said to be quoting Hinduism as turning into a violent religion from being an epitome of peace. A complaint was filed on Urmila by a BJP worker Suresh Nakhua for her alleged anti-Hindu remarks.

However, Urmila denied the allegations saying that she has been grossly misquoted by the complainant with deceitful intentions when she was allegedly talking about BJP not Hinduism. She said that she believes that Hinduism is an epitome of peace and non-violence. That means, she was against the violence promoted by BJP and she was misquoted by the BJP worker who had political agenda above everything.

Being a film actress, the actress turned politician was trolled on social media as being a dumb candidate. But, Urmila says that she isn’t dumb and also, she is proud of being a Bollywood actress. She also complains that she has been victimized by the other party. Of course, she isn’t going to budge. Coming to the above complaint on Urmila, the complainant lodged a complaint saying that Urmila told that Hinduism is the most violent religion in the world.
