Gautham Menon appears to be a self-aware individual, aware of the talks and comments he get due to the inspiration he takes international movies in making his own films. But as far as allegations against him are concerned, Menon completely refutes them saying that he has not even watched the films of the legendary Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa.
With Mani Ratnam’s Mouna Raagam and Sakhi as his unparalleled favorite romantic sagas, Menon claims that “I can make 15 more romantic films with just one song, ‘Valapu Virahama’ from Sakhi, as my inspiration. My own realizations and experiences take form as films,” says the director of Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu.
The film Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, which is scheduled to release on December 14th has Nani and Samantha in the lead. The Tamil version of the film, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu is supposed to have Jiva instead of Nani, opposite Samantha.
