The movie unit of 3 had arranged a special screening of ‘3’ for Universal Actor Kamal Hassan. Kamal, Dhanush and Shruti Hassan were alone watching the movie. Kamal is said to be engrossed through out the movie. Dhanush had left the movie early so as to give space to the father and daughter to review the movie. After the movie, Kamal had hugged Shruti for her performance in the movie.
He later said “For the first time in her career, I hugged my daughter after watching her performance. Besides her performance what really thrilled me to bits is that Shruti looks so much like me in the film. So far everyone thinks she only looks like her mother (actor Sarika),”
He added “I’ve never been a demonstrative father. But when I saw my daughter’s performance in 3, I knew my little girl had finally come into her own as an actor”
Kamal had suggested few changes in the movie to suit the taste of Hindi audience which will be incorporated in Hindi version which releases in May.
