Lekha Washington is a multi-faceted talent who worked in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. She played Manchu Manoj’s heroine in ‘Vedam’. She opened up about the misogynist approach of some filmmakers in our film industry.
Talking one such incident Lekha revealed that one Tamil director offered her a film and started asking for favours, “What will I get in return?” The question is obvious and no need to elaborate on the intentions of the director when he asked that. Though Lekha played dumb for a while, finally, she had to say, “I’m not going to sleep with you.”
Needless to say that Lekha was dropped from the project and the director went on roping another heroine. But, his Karma brought him to a full circle and he was killed because of heart attack, courtesy the viagra he used, revealed the actress. Thanks to Karma!
