Hyderabad High Court issued notices to Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat over a PIL filed against her stating that the actress draped in the three colours of the national flag and the poster was released as part of their movie ‘Dirty Politics’ promotions. Rights activist Dhana Gopal filed the petition and stated that movie unit had intentionally insulted the national flag and the poster shows the State Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan in the back ground.
The city High Court of Hyderabad has asked the actress Mallika, the Central Board for Film Certification and the producer of the film to respond in four weeks time. We will have to wait and see how the production unit will justify their act. The film ‘Dirty Politics’ is due for release later this year.
