Liger turned out to be one of the biggest disasters as the buyers stand to lose 50-70% of their investment. Director Puri Jagannadh will start meeting the buyers from Monday to discuss compensation. We will have to see how this is going to pan out.
On the other hand, Puri’s much-hyped project JGM (Jana Gana Mana) with Vijay Deverakonda has been shelved. The decision was taken after Vijay Deverakonda, and Puri Jagannadh felt the budget would not work out.
One of the producers of Liger, Charmme, has taken a break from social media and has promised that her banner Puri Connects will return with something bigger and better. Charmme was heavily criticized on social media by the Telugu audience for making a substandard product like Liger and then hyping it to the skies.

@PuriConnects. will bounce back Bigger and Better… until then, Live and let Live.” Her words clearly indicate that she was offended by post-Liger criticism
Vijay Deverakonda is back on the sets of his upcoming romantic film Kushi with Samantha n the direction of Shiva Nirvana. The film is almost 70% done.
