Hurriedly Released Single-A Pointless Exercise In Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikuntapuramlo PromotionThe first single from Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Ala Vaikunthapurramulo is out. As we said earlier, it is a winner. So, here it is not about the song rather the promotional strategy to release it at this point.

We all know, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa arrives in a few days. It means the entire focus of the ‘Mega’ fans would be on the movie. It is a prestigious project, and none other than Ram Charan produces the movie. The fans are frustrated with the promotions, but still, they look forward to the movie with keen anticipation.

Releasing a single at this point, therefore, feels totally unnecessary. Remember, Allu Arjun has not attended the pre-release event, and there is not a single tweet on Sye Raa. Under such circumstances, going all out with single release publicity, that too for a film more than three months away, seems unwarranted. It only adds to needless friction within the same fan base who love all their stars.

One definitely understands that there is a competition (with Sarileru Neekevvaru), and it has been a long time (close to one and a half years) since fans got anything to munch on. But, nothing would have changed if it were delayed by a week (exactly, to be precise). In fact, releasing it for Dasara festival after Sye Raa would have made fans even happier.

It is easily avoidable decisions like these that baffle a neutral viewer as well as fans and makes them wonder if rumours that come out are true or not. An atmosphere of animosity is created as a result.
