It was previously said that the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalitha caused troubles for the release of Tamil star Vijay’s films. Many examples can be cited for the same.
Now, she is not there, and yet Vijay’s upcoming release Mersal is facing issues. The film is still to get a certificate from Censor board which is making fans worried. And then there is the ticket price issue going on in Tamil Nadu. The former has nothing to do with government, but the latter is a direct action from them.
The latest one hears is that the makers of Mersal have got the no objection certificate that Censor board wanted. It is just a matter of time for the clearance from Censor. It means an on-time release would be assured. The ticket price issue will be going on for some time. Mersal starring Vijay, Kajal, Samantha, and Nithya Menen will hit screens all over the world on October 18. It releases as Adirindi in Telugu.
