bollywood heroes tax saving strategyRenowned Bollywood celebs, like Aishwarya Rai, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and several others, have been creating and breaking box-office records for decades now and have earned a special place in our hearts. Little did we know that these heartthrobs are also the reason the bond market of India is flourishing.

These well-known celebrities’ investments of parts of their whopping incomes help the Indian bond market prosper. For instance leading actor Akshay Kumar has been a regular investor in several corporations with one of them being Indian Railway Finance Corporation or IRFC’s tax-free bonds while earning about Rs 128 crore in the year.

However, the actor’s usual investment of the tax free bonds has been closed since last Thursday. Akshay is not the only actor to be affected by this; Aamir Khan (annual income Rs 104 crore) and Kareena Kapoor (annual income Rs 53 crore) also went through the same issue with IRFC. With their brilliant and easy way of evading taxes being shut down, the actors seem to be bonding to find a solution.
