Profit sharing is not a new thing to star heroes in Bollywood. It has become a common practice that superstars like Salman and Shahrukh Khan ask for the share in the profits instead of deciding on a definite pay cheque.
But our Thalaiva Rajinikanth has proved that he is different. According to reports in national media, the superstar took a remuneration of whopping Rs.35 crores and in addition going to get Rs. 45 crores as share in the profits from the gross collection.
The film is said to be made with Rs.110 crores including Rajini’s pay. So, the 45 crores will come from the profits ‘Kabali’ made. With this, Rajinikanth will probably become the highest paid actor ever in Indian Cinema. This is really humungous and overwhelming for fans of Thalaiva.
