Our readers are aware that SS Rajamouli’s directorial ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is being remade in Hindi under the name ‘Son of Sardar’. Ajay Devagan is playing the role of Sunil while Sanjay Dutt is reprising the role of Nagineedu (Heroine father character). The movie is directed by Aswini Dhir. The theatrical trailer of the movie was released yesterday. Looks like the director had taken care to change the characterization of Ajay Devagan to suit his image.Care has been taken to change the styling of artists and the art work to suit North Indian nativity. SSR’s Marayada Ramanna has very limited role for the heroine but here her role seem to be increased.
Certain shots like Ajay Devagan falling of the train when helping Sonakshi Sinha ascend the train, Sardar’s acting of Broken back to prevent going out of the house and his tryst to pull a cocunut through the window of the trains looks photocopy of the scenes from the original.
