57 storey skyscraper in chinaA Chinese construction company, The Broad Sustainable Building Co. went on to become the World’s fastest builder by erecting a 57-storey skyscraper in 19 working days in central China. The company achieved this feat by assembling prefabricated blocks instead of building every thing brick by brick.

The rectangular glass-and-steel construction is called the Mini Sky City in the Hunan provincial capital of Changsha. The company claims to have assembled three floors per day. The construction company now harbours the ambition of assembling the world’s tallest skyscraper at 220 floors in only three months.

The company claims this kind of modular building is already in place in US and Britain and it will ensure the cityscapes with uniform structures and it is a safe and reliable way to build skyscrapers rapidly. Mini Sky City has 19 atriums, 800 apartments and office space for 4,000 people, goes on sale in May.
