Celebrities are constantly in the public eye, and the general public is highly instrumental for their success and for their support. However, sometimes, fans go overboard, by prying and involving too much into a celebrity’s life, way beyond a respectable limit.
This is especially relevant now, considering a few comments that were made on Niharika Konidela‘s post. The actress posted a cute picture of herself with her husband, where the two are seen sharing a personal moment together, in which both of them look incredibly happy. Below this post are some obscene statements.
People are seen requesting Niharika to not post such pictures online, and to keep them to herself, as they feel she’s degrading her family’s name by posting such pictures online. Few asked her to not degrade our traditions by posting such pictures. A comment, in particular, was derogatory, where the user was asking Niharika to post pictures of her more private moments altogether on social media.
What people are continuously failing to realize is that people can express themselves the way they want to, and the way they deem fit, on social media platforms. It’s one thing to admire known personalities onscreen, but it’s an entirely different thing to be prying and commenting on their personal lives.
