Fidaa is having a terrific run at the box office. It is having a sensational hold in the weekdays as well giving it ample scope to be a blockbuster in the coming days. But before the dreams of blockbuster can come true there is a threat for it.
Goutham Nanda is the big threat that is looming large and could dent the collections of Fidaa. The issue is not in the US where there is no competition at all, it is in the two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Despite Fidaa doing extremely well, the masses always love a well made, time pass commercial entertainer. Goutham Nanda provides exactly that to the viewers.
Still, if one follows the trade related to Fidaa closely, it would be obvious that the effect might be very less. The reason for that is low release of Fidaa. It is running with limited screenings which allows Goutham Nanda to have its run without curtailing the prospects of Fidaa. Also, both belong to different genres, it means there is no overlap of audience.
In short, even if Goutham Nanda gets good talk there would be very less impact and both can continue to have excellent run simultaneously. The advance bookings for the Gopichand starrer has opened in few places and it is decent so far. Stay tuned for final update just before the release.
