allu arjun missed a disaster Ala Vaikuntha purramulooIt’s like setting a precedent in the Telugu Film Industry when Geetha Arts chose to celebrate the reunion event for completing one year of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuuramloo’. The event is full of fond remembrances of the team and sharing their experiences.

Speaking at the event, Allu Arjun said, “Everyone did the movie with love ad I’m the most benefited.” True. The way he analysed his condition before the film’s release and his current position gave us a glimpse of what would have happened if ‘Ala Vikaunthapurramloo’ had missed the Sankranthi slot, last year and waited for the Summer release.

Before this film, Allu Arjun took a gap of more than a year and a half after ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ that was a huge disappointment. If ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ hadn’t come to theatres for the last Sankranthi, COVID would have pushed it for another year.

Imagine what that kind of gap would have done to the stardom of a star like Allu Arjun who had a big flop before this blockbuster. The movie would have still been in cans. Unimaginable for the stylish star’s fans. Right? That would have been a major disaster confidence-wise. What do you think?
