This Friday will witness the release of two medium-budget films, Bimbisara and Sita Ramam, at the U.S. Box office. Both the films look promising and carry decent expectations.
The response to the trailers of both films has been encouraging, and they are expected to open well at the U.S box office. The theme and execution of both films look US-friendly, which makes the buyers hopeful.
Dulquer Salmaan has got a good craze among the youth, which should help the BO prospects of Sita Ramam. On the other hand, Bimbisara’s hype after the NTR’s speech at the pre-release event has gone up, which should attract the audience to visit the theaters in the U.S.
The month of July has been atrocious for the U.S box office. None of the films could even open to decent numbers. Pakka Commercial, The Warriorr, Thank You, Happy Birthday, and Ramarao On Duty all have been unmitigated disasters.
But this week’s releases show some promise, and the buyers and exhibitors in the U.S. are hopeful that this weekend will be a fruitful one for them.
