SS Rajamouli’s Eega is all set to fly worldwide within the next 24 hours. The movie which was under production for about 2 years had made headlines for all possible reasons till now. Here are few distinctions which made the movie unique.
1. The Telugu version of the movie is releasing in about 1200 screens worldwide which is so far the biggest ever release for a Telugu movie.
2. The movie is the biggest budget movie in Telugu among movies with no prominent stars.
3. The movie reportedly has a record number of 2234 CG shots.
4. Eega is the first film to release in 120 centers in North India (with subtitles).
5. Eega is the first film to release in 150 centers of Karnataka.
6. Eega is the first film to release in 27 centers of West Godavari.
7. Eega Producer, Sai Korrapati is one of the senior most distributors in Ceeded region and the movie is getting highest release too.
8. The Malayalam version of the movie is releasing in 100 centers in Kerala
9. The satellite rights for Eega in Telugu were sold for 5 crores and 10 lacs to MAA TV (for a period of 15 years)
10. The Tamil rights of the movie were sold out for 5 crores to PVP cinemas.
11. The Tamil satellite rights fetched 3.5 crores for PVP. They also got a promotional space worth 1 crore in Sun network for free.

13. A big Hindi production house is currently negotiating for the Hindi version. The Bollywood version will be a 3D one and will be released for Christmas 2012.
