high court of telanganaLooks like the dream of having a separate high court may be not near for Telangana. The central government is in no mood of the high court division and had extended the term of nine additional judges of the Hyderabad High Court for three months.

Telangana government reportedly registered its protest with the central law ministry for delaying the high court division. The ruling TRS party is planning to stall the proceedings of Parliament on the same issue in the coming session.

However center says this extension has got nothing to do with the high court division. They say the stalemate was caused after Supreme court struck down the NJAC Act and the collegium of the Supreme Court had become defunct for a while, could not make any recommendation to the President on judges.
