Netizens have called Siddharth ‘cheap’ for his derogatory sexual innuendo against the badminton player. It all started after Saina Nehwal questioned the recent security lapse of Narendra Modi. To this, the actor responded, “Subtle cock champion of the world… Thank God we have protectors of India. Shame on you #Rihanna.”
No sooner, his tweet creator furor on social media with netizens expressing their displeasure. This instantly made the actor issue clarification where he said that he didn’t mean disrespect. Hours after the incident, Saina Nehwal reacted to this, where she said that the actor could have used better words to express.
Meanwhile, Saina Nehwal’s husband Parupalli Kashyap, a badminton player, called out Siddharth for his comments. On the other side, the National Commission for Women has raised notice seeking to block the actor’s Twitter account.
