For instance Nitya Menon rejects an offer to act with Victory Venkatesh saying that audience will not accept their pair due to huge age gap. Nitya is 25 years old and Venky crossed 50 two years ago. Trisha who paired with Raviteja in Krishna movie didn’t like to act with him despite no other offers in Tollywood. Amala Paul has expressed displeasure to pair with Balupu hero as she is keen to continue career with young heroes.
Jabardasth show TV ancor Anasuya hit headlines after bluntly rejecting to do item song with Pawan Kalyan in Attarntiki Daredi as she wanted ‘more screen space’ with him. In fact, Kajal Aggarwal and Tamanna who reached nation wide stardom did not do much films with Telugu heroes due to differences with the Tollywood film makers. Small budget hero Shivaji was upset with blunt rejection from top heroines to act with him who was not limelight in these days.
Film analysts say it is a good sign and protecting the self-respect and feelings are quite natural among the young generation of heroines. Heroines say there is no need to compromise when they don’t like to do anything against their conscience. But heroes’ argument is different. The same heroines move around their offices for chances and ignore them when they get craze among the audience.
