It appears that despite filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli’s work being essentially in the direction of Telugu Films, he is already a major presence in the Bollywood industry. Owing to the several Telugu superhits that are remade for the Hindi screen, including Rowdy Rathore based on his Telugu blockbuster Vikramarkudu and Son of Sardar starring Ajay Devagan which is scheduled to hit the box office this Diwali, Rajamouli is a well known name here at the B-town. With Makkhi, the hindi version of his Telegu hit Eega releasing soon, Rajamouli talks about this new movie and share his opinions.

Rajamouli’s films have been known to feature larger than life heroes. When questioned about that, he says “Yes, because films are stories and fantasies, not reality. And in stories, heroes are larger than life. For me, films are all about story-telling, so my heroes too are all larger than life as well.” But even as heroes form a part of his movies, in the end it is all about emotions, or so Rajamouli says.
