A film like RRR wouldn’t have been in this position under normal circumstances, but due to the extraordinary, unexpected pandemic, things are not the same anymore, even if it is RRR, which brings together two of the biggest stars of Telugu cinema together. And none other than SS Rajamouli directs them.

The shooting, meanwhile, would continue with the schedules already in the place. The idea here is to bring back the initial momentum on RRR, and who better than Jr NTR to do that. The lack of teaser for his birthday could be a blessing considering the long postponement. It means whenever the teaser arrives, it would set ablaze the social media as the audience would be starving for a biggie.
As it is RRR has lost a lot (of time) due to pandemic. It was supposed to hit the cinemas for Sankranthi 2021, but now stands postponed indefinitely. A longer wait could make the biggie look stale. Remember what happened with 2.0 when it got multiple delays?
Only SS Rajamouli knows when the release time would be as everything is happening under his guidance. The teaser and further promotional strategies are also his choices.
