Password_Sharing_NetflixFor a while now, Netflix has been contemplating the idea of blocking password sharing. Well, they’ve put the same to implementation now.

As per the latest reports, Netflix has passed a new condition, where a subscriber should log into his/her home Wi-Fi network at least once in 31 days to keep the account active. Failure to do so will lead to account suspension.

This idea is to cut down the sharing of the password to friends and family members. This really is a brave move from the OTT giant.

Several users have already commented that getting back to the home Wi-Fi network is not always possible and with the penalty for that being account suspension, they’re fuming on Netflix for the same.

Netflix is the only OTT giant to implement this condition and there’s a lot of noise about the same now. Will the plan work out? We will know the answer in the next few weeks.

It is known that Netflix had recently introduced a mobile-only plan in India which is priced at just Rs 149/ month.
