Well, the commercial success is a worry, but he is definitely in a better position than where he was, post-Akhil. So, what lies ahead?
Various rumors are doing the rounds with Akhil himself quashing one of them. But, as they say, there is no smoke without fire. It means the young actor is looking at something big for his next project as well. Also, the names that are involved all have classy orientation in their making. It is another positive sign.
Putting these various things together, and keeping the recent interview of Akhil in mind, it seems that the actor has accepted his mistakes and learning from them. If that is true and Akhil selects projects that work on his strength, sooner or later, he is going to get one big success. The important thing here is to not be in a rush to overachieve, and it also doesn’t mean he goes back to his cave and comes again two years later.
It takes time for things to fall into place, and after repeated attempts. For Akhil, it is a good sign that he has won audience love from Hello even if the film is flopping. He should stick to similar space and get a more mass friendly subject. A Koratala Siva or Sukumar would be fine in this terrain if they can come up with something fresh.
