Senior Malayalam hero Mohanlal might be enjoying superstar status in Kerala but he isn’t an unknown face for Telugus. We know him through his superhit dubbing films and straight films as well. The last we saw him was in ‘Gaandeevam’ with legendary ANR and Balakrishna.
Now this Malayalam superstar is making a comeback with a small film ‘Nuvve Naa Praanamani’ as policeman. The hero and heroine of this romantic drama are debutantes. It’s surprising to see Mohanlal making his comeback to Telugu movies through an unknown movie.
It would have been nice if its even a guest role in a Telugu film starring a top hero. We know that he is a great actor. Even a guest role in big star film would have done wonders. But it’s surprising that he picked this unknown film. Recently there had been rumours that he would be playing NTR’s father in Sukumar’s film. He landed up in a small film with debutantes.
