When we have heard of big heroes like Suriya who literally begged Rajamouli for atleast a small role in his upcoming period drama ‘Baahubali’. People in the film industry are in so much awe of the film maker that even a small chance in the movie or to get associated with it in one way or the other seems to be like a boon on them.
But for art director Ravinder Reddy, it has become like a ‘missed chance’ to be associated with ‘Baahubali’. It might be surprising to know that it is he who rejected the offer that came his way. Though Ravinder Reddy worked with Rajamouli for his earlier, this timehe couldn’t take the call from the top film maker.
The reason behind is the time duration for the making of the movie. Rajamouli wanted him to entirety devote four years for one film ‘Baahubali’ and the art director says as he has a family to earn for, he couldn’t devote 4 years for one Rajamouli’s movie and hence chose other movies. And by the time ‘Baahubali’ is on the verge of completion, Ravinder Reddy has done seven movies.
The latest movie, Trivikram’s ‘S/O Satyamurthy’ for which he had designed sets is gearing up for release and talking on his connection with Trivikram, Ravinder Reddy says that he has been his guide how to lead life.
