Every Telugu person from all over the world is proud that Rajamouli’s upcoming epic drama ‘Baahubali’ is the pride of Telugu Cinema. But one Telugu speaking Vijayawada guy settled in Chennai differs with majority of Telugu people’s opinion. He thinks, ‘Baahubali’ has a worldwide approach not confined to just one regional language.
In that sense he is true and you may be wondering who that person who thinks ‘Baahubali’ isn’t just the Pride of Telugus? He is the Visuals Effects master for Rajamouli epic drama Srinivas Mohan. While Rajamouli falls short of words to describe the meticulous workmanship of the master, Rajamouli’s emotional connect, that lacks in Hollywood movies is going to mesmerise audiences opines Srinivas Mohan.
Associated with big films like Shankar’s ‘Boys’, ‘Shivaji’ and ‘Robot’, this is the first time Srinivas Mohan got to work with Rajamouli and a Telugu film for the first time. He opines getting a product of Hollywood standards with a meagre Rs.200 crore is hard to achieve the grandeur like Holywood technical movies made with more than Rs.1000 crore.
He foresees that for future films ‘Baahubali’ is going to make it tougher to pull crowds as the moviegoers would draw parallels with the grandiose the epic movie would introduce them to. Of course he is 100% right. We already are witnessing parallels drawn between Baahubali and Vijay’s ‘Puli’, the latter not withstanding the grandeur of Baahubali technically.
