Taapsee wrote, “I have always been asked who’s your favourite male cricketer but you should ask them who their favourite female cricketer is.” Taapsee’s haters on social media started trolling her for playing the feminism card while she must have always watched males’ cricket.
In reality, Taapsee quoted the actual words of Mithali Raj when the former cricket captain for the women’s team was asked who her favourite male cricketer was between India and Pakistan.
So, Taapsee says that it’s this statement of Mithali Raj that made every cricket lover introspect if they really love the game or the gender playing it.
