The talks between Kamal Hassan and objecting Islamic groups have ended in success. Both the parties have dicussed the objectionable scenes in the movie over the table and finally decided up on the list of cuts (which are seven in number) to be made in the movie. Finally, Kamal had yielded to their pressure and agreed for the cuts. The movie will be censored tomorrow and the release date of the movie will be announced after that. Kamal himself will be sending an edited version of DVD to the censor board.
Kamal will now be withdrawing the writ petition from the high court. He also thanked the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Dr.J.Jayalalitha and the Tamil Nadu government for playing a major role in initiating the talks and resolving the problem. The Universal actor specially thanked the media and his fans for their continued support.
